Processed Media Fall 2025 Preview

PM Fall 2025

What’s coming to Processed Media this fall? The answers you seek shall be found below!

Summer Second Looks Continue

Unsurprisingly, this summer’s ongoing Second Look series will continue into the fall – which means more Friends season five, Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place season two, Continuum season one (and season two December 9th!), and Scrubs season one will all run through the fall, as planned. But that’s not all for the ever-popular Second Look series – thanks to an incredibly bare fall lineup, the Second Look series will expand to celebrate the 10th anniversary of a cult favorite…

Limitless

Limitless Second Look!

That’s right – 10 years after its one-and-done run on CBS, I’ll be sitting down to watch through the criminally underrated sequel to 2011’s Limitless. As a bonus, I will also have a review of the film (which I’ve not seen since it was in the theaters) on the site next week, since the Jake McDorman and Jennifer Carpenter-led procedural was a direct sequel to the film. Get your NZT ready – reviews of the series will begin September 22nd!

Stranger Things

Stranger Things Reviews Continue

After an extended look at the series premiere on its ninth anniversary, my episodic reviews of Stranger Things will continue to publish in bunches throughout the fall. For those planning rewatches, most reviews will publish on the weekends – and you already know I will have full coverage of each season five episode, beginning with the season premiere on November 26th.

The Lowdown

The Lowdown Reviews

I didn’t want to go the entire fall without any episodic reviews of current series – and like an answer to my prayers, Sterlin Harjo’s latest series for FX arrives on September 23rd with a two-episode debut. Though I won’t have screeners for episodes ahead of their airing, reviews of the Ethan Hawke-starring drama should publish within 24 hours of each episode airing (as always, the handy subscribe button floating at the bottom right hand corner of the page is your best friend!).

Rookie Rankings Resume

Back in February, I published some detailed rankings of every new series I’ve watched in 2025. Nobody can keep up with every show, of course, but in my goal to watch as many new series as possible this year, I’ve still been sneaking in pilots and full seasons where I can. As I work through more and more of the year’s series (again – it’s a light fall, we’ve all got time to catch up), I’ll be reviving the Rookie Rankings for each month until the end of the year. Look for its return next week!

(Also, season two of Doc is coming… you know I’ll have more thoughts about Doc at some point in 2025).

The Chair Company

More TV (and Film) Reviews!

Though many of my thoughts on new, unremarkable series will filter into the Rookie Rankings as they expand, there are still plenty of series I’ll have more to say about this fall. I’m currently watching Hulu’s Chad Powers and will have some thoughts about that show before its debut later this month – and from HBO’s I love LA and The Chair Company to Apple TV+’s Pluribus to MGM’s Robin Hood (you read that right), there are plenty of other series I’ve got my eye on and will hopefully cover this fall.

And with any luck, next week’s Limitless (2011) review will not be the only film review I publish before the end of 2025!

Fallout The Head

Fallout Season 1 & Season 2 Reviews

Thanks to a few random circumstances, I never finished my first season coverage of Prime Video’s Fallout – but with season two reviews debuting in December, it’s time we got back to season one and finished it out. Season one reviews will resume on November 20th – and season two reviews will begin with the premiere on Wednesday, December 17th.

Pokémon Legends Z-A

More Game Reviews?

Though I loved Donkey Kong Bananza, I didn’t have a chance to get my thoughts together for a review this summer (though you can probably bet it’ll show up in my Best of 2025 awards this year). But more game reviews are coming – I’m currently working on Borderlands 4, and am planning on reviews of Sonic Racing: Crossworlds and Pokemon Legends: Z-A later this fall. Gaming – it’s hot!

What Do You Want to See in 2026?

As I start to plan for next year, I’m opening up the floor for requests! If there’s a show you’d like to see covered in the coming months, leave me a comment, shoot me a DM on social media, or email me at editor@processedmedia.net!
