Processed Media is an independent publication covering television, film, and video games, founded and written by Randy Dankievitch since 2011.
The site publishes 180+ reviews per year, primarily focused on substantive episode-by-episode analysis of contemporary series. Processed Media is also the home of the Second Look series – retrospective reviews of classic and cult series alike. Other coverage includes season retrospectives, editorial pieces, and episode rankings, alongside the occasional film and video game review.
About the author
Randy Dankievitch is a Rotten Tomatoes-approved entertainment critic, who has written about television, film, and video games since 2010. Over a 15-year career, he has published over 2,500 reviews contributing to Processed Media and multiple other publications, including Sound on Sight, Tilt Magazine, PopOptiq, TVOvermind, Telltale TV, and Geeks Unleashed, among many others.
He currently writes and publishes Processed Media as his primary independent platform, and writes a monthly culture column for UpPortland, a Portland, Maine-based publication, where he’s written since 2016.
